Hi Guys Here is one I have looked for and after hunting 1 1/2 years I finally secured a nice example. This is one of the earliest examples of the ISA badge and the maker is still unknown. These are referred to by collectors as the Cut-Out variant for obvious reasons. You will notice the swazy and the leaf that is usually between the k98 stock and the sling is cut out. There are several different variants as these were a little different from each other. Some just have the leaf removed, others the swazy and leaf, others the swazy, part of the eagles wing and the leaf, etc...I think it just depended on how creative the guy doing the finishing work on the badge got. Here is mine. Best Regards, fischer
Hi Fischer-thats an outstanding example. As Kai mentioned-thanks for teaching us the differences between these makes of IABs.
