My wife and myself are just about to undertake researching her Grandfather LAC Lewis Maybray. His involvement with D-Day started +3 when he landed at Sword, subsequently moved upto Caen where he spent some time before being redeployed somewhere not known. He was a radar specialist and i guess he was involved with mobile radar units in some way. if anybody knows of him or even what a RAF Radar tech will have been doing there at this time it would be great to hear. regards paul
