Hanging is too good for them and I am serious about that. I have no compassion for whoever did this.

Im typeless on this one. I hope they are allfound and hung by their twinkle toes. Ill bet it was some bums out-looking for a way to buy more drugs and booze. Stealing Copper is a huge thing goping on here and especially in Houston and Corpus Christi.

I actually felt zero remorse when one guy died by electrocuting itself when trying to steal three huge airconditioning units from a business in Corpus an couple years ago. Would still be among the living had it not been a thief.

That is disgusting, and as Carl said the theft of brass/bronze is becoming an epidemic in these tough economic times. Here in Mt. we had a bit of vandalism on a WW1 memorial in Lewistown a couple of years back, but that was some punks trying to steal an old Browning water-cooled machine gun that had been mounted on a concrete slab by the VFW in their own veteran's park. All they managed to do was tip it over and bend the tripod mount all to hell.

They had pulled it with a chain, and when it tipped over it fell on the plaque so they couldn't steal that either. It has been remounted and put behind a waist high solid fence so you cannot just walk up and touch it anymore, and the descriptive plaque is inside the fence as well.

Disgusting behavior in any case, whatever the motive.
