I love Scobby doo? I watched more than millions of episodes since I was young. There's a new cartoon series release few years ago named What's new scobby doo. I love it's new theme song.
I thought it was spelled Scooby-Doo. But then, I never watched it. I don't even know what it's about... Shame on me and my television-free childhood.
I loved the originals but it jumped the shark a bit after that (to use a Happy Daysism). Hey - did anyone else notice that most of the crooks locked up at the end of each episode hadn't actually done anything illegal ?
I think that all of them could be accused for deception and blackmale, against their victims of course...
But I can't believe that, in the USA, it is really a crime to impersonate a ghost, werewolf or witch in a big pointy hat for example - if it was there would be a hell of a lot of kids locked up on halloween. Now if they were dressed as arabs perhaps (sorry :-? ).
Well I never watched scooby-doo, but I think that if you willingly cause someone to fear physical injury (i.e. by dressing up as a monster or ghost and zooming around) you have comitted assault... Plus they probably stole the costumes So rest easy Lone Wolf, those hippies deserved everything they got
prolly why your so smart , roel , you didnt waste all those brain cells watching crap like scooby doo ....( i watched smart catoons like bugs bunny , johnny quest and astroboy...)
wait, they're hippies.Like they have money or anything of value. I bet they have marijuana in the back of the "mystery machine"you could probably "confiscate"
You could probably claim at least intimidation, or possibly intention to defraud... May be more a civil case rather than criminal, on the other hand it is children's cartoon  , it's not supposed to be legally binding or anything...
Look - if I dressed in a big white sheet, shouted wooooooohhh ! and someone was daft enough to think I was a ghost then they should be arrested for being so stupid and endangering the gene pool. :x
You know what's really bizarre? I caught the end of a Scooby-Doo episode yesterday (something about a theme park and a green monster), where they caught the villan, but then said "Hey, you didn't break the law, so we can't do anything" It ended with the villain's sister telling their mum.
