donald bertman serial number 16051083

I was looking to find out any information on my father donald bertman. He was in WWII army air corp 16th photographic and I am searching for any maybe living members that may have served with him. He was a private and his he was a Private. He enliseted december 11th 1941. there is a film reel number 2.69 I would love to find so I may see what my father did during the war. box number 0212 film reel number 2.69. His place of enlistment was peoria Illinois. He served and I would love to find out more about his life in the service. He died october 28, 2008 from Lung cancer. I have been trying to find out more. My father was Army Air corp serial number 16051083 Grade 8 private out of peoria ill and he was a private he was in for 5 years . there is a box number 0212 with film reel nmumber 2.69 and I would love to find this.
