    Hi
I m returning to this site after a brek of some years and I am till trying to solve my original problem! My father in law, Dominic Michael Stringer, was one of the lucky ones that successfully escaped from Singapore on a msall ship.

    Today's questions are:

Were there lists of those who managed to escape taken by authorities as some books have asserted?
Where would these lists be now?
Is there a comprehensive list of those who remain "missing" or even a list of deserters?
If any of these are available where would I be likely to find them?

    Thanks for any suggestions.
