Went to see Female Agents tonight in Henley & a very good film it is to + it based on a true story After the Liberation of France, General de Gaulle neglected the role played by these female agents, many of whom had given their lives for the cause, in order to highlight the heroes who had fought alongside him in the Free French Forces. This film sets out to make amends for the injustice by turning the spotlight on the women who, in the shadows, had worked to defeat the Nazis. 'Female Agents' is an action-packed tribute to the real-life espionage operatives whose exploits inspired the film.
The story was a bit "usual" but for a change the shooting incidents were well planned and looked like the real thing. Very professional work. Lots of MP40´s of course....
