Try rolling them in a tube first to get the creases out. Use lead fishing sinkers to weigh down the corners so they lay flat. Also, if you have a tripod, put it on a table and put the maps under the table to get a square shot at them. And send me the originals, I'll take good care of them.

yeah,they all are. Most of them are stamped published by war office. They have routes and things marked out on them you can barely see them in the pictures though.
I use the tubes that go in golf bags for some maps. The inert plastic is better for them than cardboard tubes. The cardboard may have a high acid content and/or dyes.
