BishopTS If I haven't said it yet Welcome! I jumped on here to do a quick check and saw this post before going on. After reading "For Heavens Sake Stop It", I read "These Bastards let your Brother Die". This one hit like a howitzer. Needless to say the first thing I did was sign on and punch the "Salute" button. This letter has as much, if not more, relevance today as it did then and I hope that those you take the time to read the "letters" will consider what they can do Today. More relevance today due to the continuing Wars we are now involved in. Irregardless of how we feel about how and where we are, I ask, no challenge, whoever reads this to reach out to those currently serving and offer not only a Thank You for serving but a direct contact and show of support. Contact the USO, the nearest Military base, National Guard unit or American Legion or VFW post and see what you can do. One small package sent to a soldier overseas costs less than $10.00 but the contents are priceless to the recipient. All I ask is 'think about it'. Sorry for hijacking the thread but this is near and dear to me and if I had the power I'd give ya' multiple salutes for this post!
