I'm really reaching here, but I bought one of each today. IYO, I'm wondering, in a dog fight, which would come out on top-a Colonial Viper launched from a Battlestar, or a Star Wars X Wing? On that same subject, how about a Corellian Cruiser versus a Battlestar?
Sorry, got to answer Joe's....How can you possibly put the Tardis in same bracket as the Enterprise...as soon as Enterprise was spotted, the Doctor would go back few seconds, appear behind or underneath em...Open door, reach out....sonic screwdriver...bits of Enterprise all over space...
Or, judging by the new pacifist attitude the Doctor has in the new series, try and ask them to stop fighting.
The X-Wing would blatantly win, the repair systems and armourment is far better. As for the Enterprise/Tardis thing, Tardis easy but what about the Enterprise vs a battlestar?
Yes, the X Wing is clearly superior. The Enterprise is faster, and more manueverable, but a battlestar is a bare knuckles brawler and the Enterprise wouldn't survive a straight up fight (it could run away very fast though).
I guess it depends which one, I mean the Enterprise E would stand a good chance against the Galactica, it is about half the size but faster and more manoeuverable. Weapons are comparable (12 phaser arrays against 14 less powerful laser systems which in theory the Enterprises shields should be totally proof against). The vipers again were armed with lasers so not much of a threat, it's really only the pulsar cannon that the enterprise would have to worry about but superior targeting systems etc should be able to deal with it. So I'm not sure, I think it'd be close.

How about a Borg Cube v Imperial Star Destroyer II Data v IG-88 Darth Vader v Q Watto v Quark Wesely Crusher v Darth Maul But my favourite would be Death Star II v Vorlon Sun Crusher. Alfred Bester v Darth Vader Babylon 5 rocks v.R
Viper vs. an X-wing? I hate to say this but the X-wing has the advantage. Of course, if the X-wing pilot has a very very bad day, got off the wrong side of the bed and his R2 unit has a bad hang over too, maybe, just maybe the Viper pilot might stand a chance. Enterprise vs. a battlestar? Stefan said the Enterprise E would be more than a match for a battlestar. Enterprise E, which is a Starfleet Sovereign class, is faster than a battlestar. However, as pointed out in several declassified Starfleet data streams (read fan fic and official ST books), battles in space occur mostly in sublight or impulse speeds. Since this is the case, a Sovereign class starship's speed won't be a factor in the fight. As for maneuverability, it doesn't matter and I'll explain why. Generally, Starfleet ships have shields while a battlestar doesn't. A battlestar relies on armor. A battlestar uses laser cannons and other weapons that uses physical mass to damage an opponent. Starfleet's shields can easily handle such weaponry. Another factor is the teleporter. Without shields, a battlestar might suddenly find itself without its ammunition after a wily Starfleet crew beams them all out into space. That doesn't mean that a battlestar is totally defenseless against a Sovereign class. Finding itself without any ammunition, the battlestar commander issues the order, "Ram that thing!" The battlestar's sheer mass, size and heavy armor has a chance to collapse the starship's shield at a particular point. Once through the shield, the battlestar can penetrate the flimsy metal skin of a starship. And if the battlestar had enough momentum, that starship would've been crushed. Serves them Starfleet guys right for taking away the colonial warriors' ammo. Oh yeah, the battlestar I'm referring to here is from the reimagined series. These battlestars have got to be really tough to be able to survive a hit from a nuclear warhead.
T-100 vs the Predator? I'd side with the Predator. Now if it's the T-1000 vs. the Predator, now that's a very hard call to make. Oh, an additional note: Gene Roddenberry's wife, Majel Barret Roddenberry passed away at the age of 76 at her home due to complications from a lingering illness.
I'd go for the predator against a T-100 easily, against a T-1000 I think it would be close but I can't help thinking that shoulder cannon would make an awful mess of the terminator and the cloak could probably be handy too.
I have to agree with you guys the Predator has better odds with the T-100 but the T-1000 would be more of a challenge. One thing that could be on the Predators side is freezing the Predator dose not work well as seen in Predator 2.
Na the T-1000 has all-wavelength scope (assuming he is an evolution of the T-100 which had it) so it could scan for the predator rather quickly. I don't know what kind of radiation a T-1000 emits but if it is well isolated, the predator would go trough a world of trouble to find it. The shoulder mounted cannon of the predator seems to be some sort of plasma if so, it can disrupt the internal circuitry of the T-1000 so even if it can't damage it per se, it can fry his circuits. Cheers...
A fight between these tow actually happened, and the Daleks did win. And there was just 4 Daleks. YouTube - Dr Who - Doomsday - Daleks vs Cybermen main battle I was thinking, an AT-ST or a Dalek?
