Force 10 from Navarone (1978) Good cast with a weak storyline. The Chetniks are savage looking guys portrayed as German Allies-magificently savage though. German Allies? I think this is bum rap the on Mihailovich forces but it was shot in the former YUGO (or maybe not such a bum rap http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=88913 ). The feats of arms committed by the heroes are pretty improbable. Kind of a "hohummer" in all-catch it you have nothing better to do. The casual banter seems not believable for men in combat-more like the actors are shooting quail..I am glad they didn't bump off the black guy though. The Dam scene is pretty good though they try to get you to believe that A bomb the size of a shoe box can hole a dam. Jeff MN USA
I agree, great cast wasted on a lame script. I remember watching it at the Theaters when it came to town. I was much younger then and didn't know any better and thought it was a great Action flick. However, about 10 or so more years went by before I saw it again-this time on a Cable TV channel, and was very dissappointed in it.
I remember reading that the filming of this movie was caught in rights limbo. The original stars were supposed to be in it but by the time the movie was ready for filming they were too old.
Agree with the above. A very poor sequel which doesn't really deserve to be associated with Guns of N.
