Apparently, the newspaper will be 'giving' away more WW2 movies in the coming weeks.

This usually involves collecting dozens of tokens that are printed in the newspaper each day.

    Better get my scissors sharpened...:)

Do you know what titles are going to be given away a good amount of time before they are? I't be interesting to see what those other titles would be? Heh heh, I wonder if there are any good titles slated to be given away-that have Sir John Mills in it? A "Fan" would like to know :-D

Argh, you make my mouth droll over some of those titles-especially the Sir John Mills titles. Luckily though, I do have a DvD w/ Dunkirk on it. Last year I found a copy of the British-released VHS tape on Amazon-from a guy who lives in Washington State-was priced at about $30 bucks and I had it shipped to a friend who burned me a nice --well-2 copies of it. I gave the other copy away to another member here.

I know Hell in the Pacific is release here on DvD-and I think one other mentioned title-so those are no prob/ but Ice Cold in Alex isn't yet released here :-(

We get some too with our tv mag, but we still pay 5.95 for them. There is some good stuff though like the Longest Day with John Wayne

An excellent movie and w/ my fave Brit Actor in it certainly helps ;-)) The last time I saw this movie was sometime in the 1980s when they showed great stuff like this movie-on the A&E channel. I envy you guys being able to get classics like these-for free ;-))
