Hi guys my father recently bought these from portsmouth at a car boot, the seller said that these badges were found apparently in a forest after the germans were defeated, also this book was present. My father bought them knowing that i collect ww2 militaria and so im looking for experts on german badges and also some knowledge on the book ??? badges are stitched and alot of work has gone into them im not sure if there real or not, please help Regards Dean
Hi Dean the seller told you nonsense I'm afraid. Fist of all the Civil Versorgungsschein is a 1918 dated 12 day leave document from Imperial Gemrany, nothing to do with the III Reich. At least it is an original document. As to the 2 others .... I think they are modern fantasy ones.
The "Standard Bearers" arm patch is bad, so is the hitler cufftitle. And as Skip pointed out, the other item is imperial.
Im not very good with that kind of cloth iding but am pretty good with Shoulderboards and Collartabs. On the Standard Bearers patch, the lack of quality as well as the border its on is really so badly done that a blind person could spot it--no offense meant.
