Could someone please direct me to a good site with images and explanations of German rank/unit/organization insignia, please? This is purely interest of a scholarly nature, meaning that I only want to know this stuff for the sake of knowing it. I am mostly interested in units from (in decreasing order of interest) Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, SS, anyone else. Thank you in advance.

H FG, that's one of the ones I was thinking of-thanks for posting it. Ill try looking later today and see if I can find the other site i was thinking of. Ill "Rep" you if the com/ allows me to ;-)) PS, I almost forgot-the www.wartradersguild.com site has one posted there on rank insignia. I forgot that Brian had added it there sometime ago. The only bad thing is-is that you have to register there which is by invite only-and you have to have a "sponsor" of sorts-before your account is activated. :-D If you go thre and register-just tell Bill that I am referring you there.
