Well, as I last post, I just wanted to tell the forum and all its members a farewell. If I had to give a reason for my leave, I guess I would say that the forum seems to have lost much of its familiarity and friendliness. I don't know, it just 'feels' different. I do have to say, however, that I thank everyone one of you who have dissicussed such topics that would make about 99% of everyone else stare blankly at me. Since I joined about 3 years ago, this is easily the best forum I have ever had the honour of posting in, and without doubt the best I will ever come across. I respect you all, and most notably our moderators for it is them who have kept this forum a clean and interesting place to chat. Grieg, we've had our differences if I can remember strait, but you're probably a really cool dude and undoubtedly the most intelligent, strait-forward person on this site. Well anyways, before I bore everyone with my rambling, I wish you guys luck and the best of health for any of your future undertakings. Pat (Zhukov_2005)
Zhukov, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would say that the honour has been all ours. I am truly, deeply sorry that the forum is no longer what you remembered it to be, and I sincerely hope that we may once again make it so, in the hope that you and people like you will (re)join us. It's been a pleasure to have you.
Respect your decision Pat. But am going to miss you nonetheless. Hope that one day you will see fit to return. Keep an eye on us. All the best for the future.

Pat, I do hope you'll reconsider. I honestly don't understand what you mean about losing friendliness and familiarity, but that's your call. In case you change your mind, we'll leave the light on for you.
Sorry to hear that Pat, I agree that the atmosphere here has changed somewhat. Hopefully we will see a return to previous form at some point soon, or the exodus of some of the better members (Such as yourself) may continue.
Sorry to see you go, even though I didn't know you that well. Just hoping I'm not one of those people who changed the atmosphere to much. I'd hate the idea of "oldbies" leaving due to my idiocy, should this be the case, please as honest to tell me so though.
I wanted to let you guys know that I've decided to come back. I couldn't find any other forum to fill the gap that this one left behind. I can honestly say that I've missed you guys and the conversations we had. I was told that the forum has recieved an upgrade, and that many things have been improved. For this, I want to give my most sincere gratitude to the administrators, but I really do hope these changes were not brought about by my leaving!
Well, I may have popped in once or twice to see how the Creat-A-Tank game was doing. Thanks for the warm return, guys. Tom, I'm really impressed by your ebonics skills. :lol:
