"A NORTH Yorkshire museum has teamed up with a haulage firm to transport an iconic Second World War plane to Europe’s most prestigious military air show.
House of James, based at Airfield Business Park, in York Road, Elvington transported the Yorkshire Air Museum’s Messerschmitt Me 109G to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, where together with the Museum’s Hawker Hurricane, it formed a centrepiece display. "

Before Erich gets too excited, I should perhaps point out that the YAM's 'Messerschmitt' is in a fact a scratchbuilt replica. It's nice, but an expert eye wouldn't be fooled....;)

    Definitely static-only, I'm afraid ; I don't think it has an engine.....
