A big hello to my new friends on this forum! I have joined because I am very interested in World War II, and my late father was a veteran of the Pacific Theater. I am nearly finished writing a book about his experiences as a rifle platoon leader in the 7th Division. The book is currently 500 pages and contains many photographs, maps, documents, etc. I hope to not only do research on this forum but also provide information when I can to fellow members. I know I will enjoy my time here and I hope to meet new friends and share alove of history. Have a great day, everyone!
