Greetings to all from the Midwest

I am brand new to this site and find it very interesting & special to me indeed. I have posted a story today regarding gold plundering in Germany during WWII that I encourage you all to read...I am looking for any feedback on this from anyone after reading.

Although, I wasn't even born yet during WWII I have a deep admiration for those who served & especially for those who gave up their very lives in order for people like me to be born and live in the greatest country in the world. I am very lucky to live in the U.S.

dazzerjeep-thanks for the welcome. Great Britain? I have never been there, but am told it is a wonderful country...America's best friend no doubt...& vice versa. I get the feeling with all the trouble in our world we are going to be needing each other & I think that is coming soon. I have never fully understood why some of these other countries dislike both of ours.
I have come to the conclusion it just may be plain old jealousy. What are your thoughts?
