Well, i guess ill do the Q/A first... 1. Your Name: My name is Mark, but obviously on the forum its Koniev. I wanted to be called Chuikov but unfortunately the name is taken, but you can call me Mark if its easier. 2. Age: Not lying, im 17 years old, and ive been intrested in WW2 since i was 11 3. Origins: Russian Federation 4. Specifics: Ive got proficient knowledge on all aspects of the war, having even been commended by university professors on my knowledge and winning several debates. Im planning on applying to uni to do history, mainly WW2. Im more experience in the Great Patriotic War obviously, but ive got a good sense of knowledge of the western perspective. 5. Hobbies: I play Counter Strike Source professionally, which is how i earn a lot of my own allowance, as well as Call of Duty 2, which is a nice WW2 game, also some of the scenes are based on the Enemy at the Gates film. 6. Other: From 1939 up to modern times really, its all important and interesting to me. 7. Miscellaneous: When i was 11 I for some reason in a book store picked up a copy of Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose. Since reading tat book the second world war became and addiction of mine, and i have since read every single book that Ambrose wrote on the topic, as well as over 50 years books in English and Russian. Ive gone to school in the UK for the past 3 years, and before that have lived in Russia. I think this combination gives me a good opinion on the war, as im proficient on both perspectives, as we know every country has its own view on the thing. Cheers -Mark
