    She is shown surfacing after sinking two Jap DD's with one torpedo spread. This action in Sibutu Passage (night of June 9, 1944) caused Admiral Toyoda to move the Japanese fleet precipitately from Tawi Tawi.

    USS Harder,

    5 patrols , sunk 16 ships including 4 Destroyers and 2 Frigates, approx 54,000 tons.(JANAC figures)

    Missing, believed sunk, August 24 1944.

    The Commande, Sam Dealy was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour.
