Also, is this the color I would want for north africa and italy or would i want tan? Would the pants have been olive? Would the signal corps have worn an ike jacket? if so, would it have had the 5th amry shoulder patch?

    Thanks,

    Hi DB -

Been running about tonight attempting to get some more work done on a couple of threads that I am getting set to post here, as well as finalizing a deal on a piece of German militaria to add to my own collection.

Concerning your request, what sort of a signals unit uniform are you looking to do? Four pocket dress, Ike jacket, combat, etc? If your man was in North Africa after running Rommel out of Tunisia, then he could have worn khaki, however, to be honest, I am not an Allied collector.

    Doc -

Is there any assistance that you might be able to give DB since I have read some of your postings concerning your interest in this field?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Thanks Bill, I pm'ed doc about this thread. I figured he would be one to talk to.

1st I want what would have been worn in the field. Then I will go with dress, as in the pic.
