Help with relatives insignia and medal ribbons

I have just been given a photo of my great uncle who served in the duke of wellingtons regt ,we know he was awarded the MM which i guess is the first medal ribbon he is wearing ,can anyone tell from a black and white photo what the others are for and also i notice he seems to be wearing two different ? collar dogs unless its just the angle of the photo that makes them look different, if possible i would like an id on these as well..
any info is welcome
