New to researching WW2 militaria(have done WW! bits and bobs) can any one HELP i have had passed to me a group of medals(italy,africa and 39/45 star and the war medal)-however i was alway led to believe that no WW2 medals were inscribed with any info but the war medal has got 7875777WO/2 J W DICKENS Can any body please point me in the right direction or help in any way Many thanks to all of the members that messaged me to tell me to put this message here- as i had put it in the wrong section
Quite a few British Commonwealth nations did in fact inscribe WW2 medals whereas I don't believe Britain itself did. I have my Grandfathers WWII medals and they are all inscribed.
