I just want to say that this looks like a very professional and interesting military site.
I'm a retired LEO and so being old enough to be retired, that makes me old :D . And during most of that old life, I have been collecting military stuff and have put together what you might call a fairly large collection of items dating from the US civil War through WWII.
To save all the time and effort it would take to repost all the photos again, there are a ton of them, it was just easier to post a link to a site I had already posted my collection on. Hope folks who take a look will enjoy it, Ray My mannequin displays - U.S. Militaria Forum

Welcome to the forum, rayg. This is a fine and friendly place, where you will find numerous collectors of militaria. While I am not a collector, I must say your collection is spectacular. Where do you display it? Is it some kind of local museum that the public can view? Excellent post. Thanks.

That's a lot of good stuff there, Ray, all of it looks well maintained. I'll bet you have to spend a good bit of time keeping it dusted, cleaned, oiled, etc?

LEO? Law Enforcement Officer? We have a couple of those lurking about. Mostly good guys, but we do have a couple of rough spots (A-58) :D.

How do you insure this stuff?

Thank you for the welcome and compliments on my collection gentlemen. I do have other Japanese and German WWII items but they were not allowed to be shown on that forum.

LRusso216, it's all in a small extra bedroom. I had to stop adding stuff as there is no more room.

Slipdigit, I have it insured through my home owners policy which does'nt cost too much because of it being well alarmed and having other forms of security. Ray
