It does look like a dart. Would have liked more information like who designed it and when. Scheiss Idee A friend of mine once had an even more brilliant idea. Attach snipers to the V2. Then, they could kill some people while the bomb is falling. He's still working on a way to make this weapon a non-one way ticket Cheers...

This enabled the pilot to get away from the blast so he could make safety and then have another go - unlike a Kamikaze pilot. 'It would have worked a bit like a Kamikaze mission but without the death of the pilot. --------------------------- So this German pilot is now tethered to a balloon over enemy territory. Singing she flies through the air in a clooowww ...clowd....And he then goes on to fly to safety. Its a powered balloon? The Germans depend on the British weather? Better not launch in monsoon season then. RAF spot the guy...wave and say brave chappie..let him live... And the guy goes home... One major flaw in this plan....Do the Germans have any darts champions? Sounds like the centre of the dart board to me.
