I had not known that Anthony Quinn

had passed away in 2001!! Damn--he was one of my all-time favorite actors.

May he also Rest-in-Peace as he will sorely be missed.

Indeed, I liked Anthony Quinn a lot. Did you know he was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and that he ofitially become the oldet actor to become a father in Hollywood, at the age of 81?

 

Yep--I knew he was reared in Chihuahua and I knew he is half Irish and half Mexican. My mother loved him as an idol when she was a child. I grew up watching his movies my favorite being: "The Guns of Navarone." I cant wait to get it on DVD

He also played "Chief Crazy Horse" in the Errol Flynn Western: "They Died With Their Boots On" which also had my favorite actress in it--the very beautiful "Olivia DeHavilland."

He was very good! And I have watched "The Guns of Navarone" several times since my mother has always been in love with Gregory Peck! Actually, she says that Mr. Peck is the real father of my brother Wilhelm...

 

Could be possible as Gregory Peck was dopwn south awhile filming "The Boys From Brazil."

 

But my mother has never been to Brazil... I think...

 

Doesnt matter--there is such a thing called: Aircraft--that one can get on and go wherever, to meet someone else.
