I think that they are great, a good hijacking breathes new life into a worn out topic (or a boring one). It reminds me of when a bunch of folks are sitting around bs'ing and tale reminds another person of another tale and the conversation goes on.

Please hijack my threads, this one is ripe for the picking.

Speaking of picking, I've actually grown edible grapes this year.

Mater was just opining over dinner the other evening that MMGW is caused by Yanks owning guns, and vegans with flatulence.
And Mater is never wrong. Only a pinko Commie liberal would suggest otherwise.

This is my favorite Stones album. Nobody does Country like Londoners on heroin.

What's the over/under for a certain someone to chime in that we are all wrong?

I'd say 0%. You see, now, we are not constrained by facts or historical reality. Thus, combating his illogic is quite easy.

..as for me, I've just had to clear out my ancient record collection from my Mum's house....and totally rediscovered The Flamin' Groovies

....and remembered that I saw them at The Roundhouse in June 1978......

    Springs.
So useful in so many ways.
I bet you all benefited from at least one spring today.
Strange word if you type it several times... Springs.

    Nobody knows that.
It's a closely guarded secret, held by Nazi scientists residing in Iceland, in a house made from licensing money.
