I stumbled across this program on Hulu, and while the audio is rather poor with the background music sometime overpowering the narration, it is still very interesting. If you open up Hulu (not Hulu Plus), type in "Soviet Storm" in the search function you should find it. It only ran for a short time, but had numerous episodes. The Siege of Leningrad episode was especially well done, showing more of the "ice road" problems than I had seen before. Be warned, the documentary film sections are supplemented by many computer generated portions, as well as re-enacting sections. Still pretty informative, and entertaining at the same time.
The 1930 version of "All Quiet on the Western Front" with Lew Ayres is on my Charter cable tonight at 7 central. I am trying to get my CD recorder running before then, looks like a grim prospect ! It is on the TCM Network, channel 170 on Charter. Gaines
