G'day Searching for information on British Identification Discs. I read that the ID discs were used in WWI, and they found out while digging up bodies for reburial that the ID Discs rotted away. Yet they used the same discs in WWII, knowing of the fact the discs rotted, burned and became unreadable when damp. Any reasons for this?? Why not use better material?? Cheers Popski
