I am not sure if any of you may remember this, but back on September 11, 2006 the New Yorker was printed, as in many other years, with a cover picture referencing 9/11. Now, this cover ended up being the first attachment. However, the New Yorker was originally thinking about putting the second attachment as the cover.

It is very interesting to compare the two. The first clearly leaves much room for interpretation. The open white space seems very barren and empty However, in the second cover it is much clearer what is going on. But in this cover it shows the huge size of NYC and how it still moves forward.

Which one do you guys like better?

BTW on August 7, 1974 Philippe Petit sucessfuly high-wire walked between the two towers if you were not aware ;)
