    John Lindsay Fairweather (Royal Artillery)

John was my great grandfather. I'm afraid I don't have a great deal of information other than the was in the Royal Artillery and served 3 years in Malta and 2 in Germany.

He was born in Strathblane, Scotland in 1878 and survived the war to die in 1949 in Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland.

Any information would be greatly received.

    many thanks,

    John.

    Hello Cj3022,

My apologies, I was getting him mixed up with his father.

John was born in 1911 and died in 1991 in Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland.
aged 80 and fought in WW2

    Ooops!

    John.
