We've all seen SdKfz lists, they're in every Panzer book, and on every Panzer website (no offense, Christian, honest!). But how about non-Sonder Kfz. numbers? Now, I know that there may be several types classified as, say, Kfz 3 cars. What I'm trying to find isn't so much all the types, but a list that will delineate what each Kfz number means. Like, Kfz 17. I have a list that the Kfz. 17 Van, and the Kfz. 17/1. What's the difference? I know the LKWs and PKWs, leichte, mittlere, und schwere, all have Kfz numbers, but what are they? Is there even such a list available? TIA
in the book encyclopedia of German tanks of ww 2 is one of such list, sadly my scanner is kaput, sorry
That's alright, Texas! I got a list. Apparently, it's in all of Nafziger's books. Which encyclopedia do you have? I looked in mine, but it only had Sonder Kfz numbers. Thanks, anyway, though!
