    That is so sad Nigel, not just the making of it or the owning of it, but also the fact that so many people have tried to duplicate/fake the items over the years. Mostly for profit I'm sure. Thanks (I guess) for posting this, I wonder what will become of this item?

    I remember a similar story about ten or so years ago with IIRC a tobacco pouch - unfortunately don't remember what happened to it - it's a very difficult thing to decide - whether you treat it as an historical artifact for the purpose of remembrance or as human remains for burial. Not sure at all what would be most appropriate here.
