    Hi
I'm looking for any available information about my uncle:

    Sapper Thomas Clay
    1910152
    658 Coy. Royal Engineers.

I believe he was attached to 51st division (Saar Force?) and was involved (and killed) in the rearguard action that they were involved in.

He is commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial. I will be visiting in July but would also like to visit the place where he died if I can find out where that was.

    Hope someone can help.

    Thanks

    Dennis.

Thanks for that Jan. I guess the only way I could pinpoint the place of his death would be by accessing the Battalion diaries and finding out what action they were involved in on that day.
