Looking for Information on my Grandfather

My grandfather was a forward air observer attached to the 96th Infantry Divison. His name was Rector W. Wilson. He probably went by his middle name of Winton Wilson. I know a little about his history. If anyone knows him I would appreciate some information about his military history. He died in 1989 and I was too young at that time to have him talk about his experiences.
