Father, Thomas Ervin Williams, was fireman on Santa Fe.

Went into service in 1944, have photo of him with fellows at training, sign says 752nd RY OPN BN. Railway operating battalion, was in Holland, France and Germany.

He only survived until 1948, wartime injuries, so never really knew him.

Any information on him, his unit whatever would be great.

Hi, Dave. Welcome to the forum.

You might try this site Military Rails Online, at least as a start.

    Good luck with your search.
