    To the north the Germans used the 1st Flieger Division of the 6th Luftflotte with main airports in Orel,Poltava and Briansk.
    To the south they deployed the whole 4th Luftflote with its main bases in Mikoyanovka,Kharkov,Zaporoye and Varnarovka (not sure about spelling though...).
    I have more details that ,unfortunately, refer only to the anti-tank units of the Luftwaffe;

    South; Two squadrons of Schl 1 plus two more squadrons of Schl 2 and the Pz.J St/JG51 -- all equiped with Hs129B-2. Also, there was deployed the 1./StG 2 equiped with Ju87G-1 and led by Ulrich Rudel.

    North; The StG 1 along with the 2./StG 2,that used Ju87G-1, plus the Pz. J.St/ZG 1 equiped with Bf-109G(armed with big caliber cannons).

    they mainly used the BF109G series

    the earlier g models had the same weapons as tfe F series except the 15mm was changed to a 20mm (i think)

    the G-6 model was armed with 2 13mm and a 20mm
