    a very interesting aspect of the war....and the Mafia has also always been interesting to me.....the Tommy guns, of course, were a big attraction when I was young....the power, 'underworld' dealings in the 'dark' rooms, etc...1920s and 1930s.....I remember reading the novel by Jack Higgens Luciano's Luck in the ship's library....
    the article states Mussolini was anti-Mafia...well, the Mafia were not always saints....
    also
    sounds like plans that have been made in recent conflicts, but with other type groups...much thanks for the article....I needed something 'different'.....
    I see Bugsy Siegel had a close 'encounter' with Goring and Goebbels....and there were stories he wanted to do away with them
