As a new recruit to this battle weary outfit would you please answer me one question?
I have just read through the list of members, locations and usernames,
a question has come into my mind, straight answer please.
How many members are or were in armoured regiments?

Never worn a uniform and never will, because of my back(I have 2 steel rods in my back). I had aspired all my childhood to follow in my father's footsteps and become a naval officer, but after my surgery I was told I could not. Alas, it was not meant to be.

    Kings Guard.

    Good Luck to You.
An old military friend of mine (now passed away) was in a british Military Hospital during WW2 and was visited by King Haakon of Norway.
AND we have a Christmas Tree every year from Norway to put in Trafalgar Square, also Major-General Sverre Bratland fought with the British regiment "The Kings Shropshire Light Infantry" where he was very popular and was known as Jimmy!

I'm 14 but I've handeled M-16s before. Never fired live rounds but have been to this computerized marksmanship range with M-16s equipped with laser pointers and pressurized water to simulate gun recoil.

Hopefully, that will be as close as you ever get to a real shooting war, Gatsby. And I hope that Civil War reenacting is as close to one as I ever get.
