Mt Bolduc Crash

    Recently, I was informed of a WWII plane crash somewhat near me up a mountain. Spoke with my father in law, and we made the drive up there in his truck to take a look. Full story here.

    Quite a sight. Since there are logging roads close to the site, they have been bringing veterans up there to pay their respects, and they've all started leaving their poppies in the tree stump.

    It was a very humbling experience, and really got me thinking about the men and women that died away from the front, but still served.

    That is true. Most people don't realize that people died away from the combat in accidents such as this one. Thanks for sharing the photos!!

    The pieces of wreckage are huge and in good condition. It's good to see people remember this brave crew.:poppy:
