My Father's WW 2 service

    My father (shown below) was in the Texas National Guard pre-war. He was diagnosed with a heart murmur and not sent overseas as a result. As he had been in the 36th Infantry Division Quartermaster Company, Signals section he was sent to 6th Army HQ at the Presideo in San Francisco CA to work there.

    The second photo is one of the office area he worked in. Major Cain was his boss and Doris Rosen was his secretary. He was assigned to the signal supply and maintenance section.
