My Grandfather that fought on the german side.

    My father's father fought with the German army. He started out running a POW camp for Russian soldiers but was punished for treating the soldiers too good and sent to the Russian front.

    Here are some pictures. I have more on another computer but here are a few for now.

    How about telling us more about him here in this thread. I'm sure a lot of us would enjoy hearing about his service and life.

    I am working on compiling information about him but it is not easy. He died when I was very young. I am trying to work on a screen play about him and his family. I just have to go through my notes. I have more pictures but I have to find the disk with them on it.
