415151 P51-D Petie 2nd, or supposed to be. Without the nose art. But this is what they intended it to be. I believe a long time ago Testors snap together had the art on the fuselage. But this is just a cheap knock-off version of it. Bought at Hobby Lobby for $11.00 on sale. Comes pre-painted but I painted the propeller, cockpit, pilot and wheels. Sometimes I just like something simple but still had to use glue even though pins and screws were provided. Gaps, but not too bad, but what do you expect from a cheap snap together. Not near as nice as my Tamiya P51 1:48 scale. Something to pass the time. IMG_3687.jpeg IMG_3692.jpeg

If you want something new and creative for your mustang, try making "racing" Mustangs...Imagine you have bought a Mustang (quite possibly an ex-Australian Mustang) and you now have to decide its racing livery...

The Sky is the limit...I did 3-4 for these...I found the "pressure" is totally off and becomes an enjoyable thing to make.
