Absolutly beautiful work! I don't model myself (I have a medical condition/neurological disorder that makes my hand and fingers shake) but I really enjoy looking at diaroma's and the likes of the master- Verlinden.
Heres John Longs 1st SSF vignette. It was taken at Mastercon. Have a look at this for more shot from the show. http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/thread?forumid=183713&it=0&messageid=1062954877&score=5&scoredpost=1062954877
Ross I especially like the W-SS figure. very nice work on the uniform. The Russia diorama is a bit over done especailly the rock/brick surfaces and if you first look at the diorama there is way too much going on. would have perfered no German vehicle or captured figure.... The Dora 9 is sharp except for the modern day background keep em coming ! ~E
Ross : Do you have the monster book by Eagle-editions.........Dora 9 ? covers the III./JG 54 invovlment and then all of JG 26 where this model comes from. New pics and some wonderful colour profiles. Frankly in my opinion one of the best day fighter histories ever written and published. Expensive but worth every penny ~E
Erich no i don't. But seeing as i'm getting a bit more back into aircraft i might consider it. While this isn't military i had to show it as lots of us have an interest in Lord of the Rings. It is Aragon by top uk modeller Adrian Bay: Just superb.
Just uploaded some pics of my models. See them at: http://www.freewebs.com/mahross/modellingprojects.htm
