    Hi,

You Join me whilst I am confused. I recently discovered this cap badge of No.2 Commando, 1st Pattern (1939-41). Although I am confused as to why the fastener is slanted? Can you Help? If so, does it have a value?

It might be behooven to you to post a pic of it in the militaria section where the Militaria guys hang around at - just a suggestion. Also, im not "into" collecting anything other than German, so I couldnt be very helpful on that quest.

Quite welcome nad, contact Jeff or Skipper or Clint or Lou, they have all helped me get images here. Though I know how to post them finally, I still cant get more here and i dont know why?

Anyway, there are some guys in there with lots of knowledge on UK stuff. The only experiances I had with WWI and WWII UK Mil was when I volunteered working in the History Collections at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and history. One of the collections I did was trying to ID about 300 or more, Boer War, WWI and WWII and post was cap, and shoulder badges that were all from the UK. I cant accurately cite possible values but, as a collector, what you have isnt exactly worthless these days ;-))
