Since my research projects are or standin still or are done, I'm starting on the research on two new projects, which hopefully will lead to contact with the families of the Old Hickory soldiers who's graves I adopted at Henri Chapelle Cemetary. For my own projects I'll share a brief update: Sgt Kurt Franzmann, in contact with two nieces T/4 Raymond Leon Miller, contact with niece is lost since she hasn't replied to my e-mails for a month now Friends projects: Cpl Anthony Lo Carro, contact established with family, and turned over to my friends so they can continue the contact. Both soldiers PFC Harold Rogers 120th Infantery Regiment 30th Infantery Division and PVT John S. Williams 119th Intantery Regiment 30th Infantery Division were both killed at the Battle of the Bulge. I know the location (or vicinity of the locations) where both soldiers first were missing in action, before they were recoverd. I stil have to request for an IDPF, but I was wondering if anyone haves some more information on the actions of both regiments for the dates between 10 and 20 januari 1945.
One of our members and administrators extraordinaire, Slipdigit. May have just the information you require. He will be along this way soon. Thank you for taking care of the graves of our fallen Infantrymen. Many among the members here will be greatly touched by your caring. Thanks again for your respect.
