Eaa Airventure 2006 will be cranking up on Monday, July 24. This is one of the premier AAF Living History opportunities in the US, and is a great opportunity for a week of immersive WW2 aviation activities including unprecedented cockpit access! If you happen to be attending the airshow, drop by and say hello! If you might be interested in participating next year, drop me a note and I'll make sure you have access to all the information and registration materials. See you on the airfield!
Sadly, it's a little out of my reach, rudie - but I'd love to go to Oshkosh ! If there are any photos available after the event, I and I'm sure many others at the forum would be very interested.....
Many Living History photos from EAA Airventure 2006 are now posted in the 'Scrapbook' section at www.warbirdslhg.org. I'm still waiting on a few members to submit their photo CDs, which should include some spectacular shots from C-47 / Airborne photo shoot that was done, so - more to come, I think. Have a good week, Rudie
welcome to the forum rudie, i would have liked to go to oshkosh this year, but me and my friend are gonna fly up next year
Nice pictures, however you need to fire the caption person. The 2004 scrapbook has a Curtiss Helldiver labeled as a Dauntless.
