    How sad to lose two P-51's due to someone not paying attention. It looks like one was on the wrong runway or taxiway at the wrong time judging from the picture. I wish I had more information.

    sad news indeed. I hope the second pilote will survive. Are the aircrafts beyond repair?

    This is very sad - the Warbird safety record has been very good recently.

    The pilot who was killed has been named as Gerry Beck, an aircraft restorer who produced a 'home-built' P-51A re-creation which first flew in 2006.

    Yes very sad indeed, thank god the other pilot walked away only with minor injuries.

    Any news as to who were the pilots, just air enthusiasts or war veterans?
