    I added this memorial/obit article to findagrave.com some time ago. Joining this forum has prompted me to go through some of my old memorials and add WWII vets. Source of the obit is most likely the Florida Today newspaper online-I can't remember, but that is where I get all my obit info for memorials and such.

    PATRICIA WARD HURTT MELBOURNE Patricia Ward Hurtt, age 87, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Hot Springs, AK, entered into rest on Thursday, September 18, 2008. She was born on September 15, 1921 in Utica, NY, daughter of the late Willis Bronson and Hazel Augusta Demott Day. She was a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. Patricia also worked with the Red Cross. She is survived by her son, Charles Ross Hurtt and his wife, Brenda of Melbourne; daughter, Rebecca Ann Hurtt of Houston, TX; brother, Herbert Day of Tarboro, NC, and two grandchildren, Patricia Ann Hurtt and Kevin Shane Lesser. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, September 24th at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 East 92nd Street, NY, NY 10128-6804.
