...for the Assault Glider Trust which has reached the semi-finals of the UK National Lottery Awards. Don't know if this will work from the US, but please have a go and please pass the word!

    Thanks

Done, Steve. Worked flawlessly from the US. Good luck with the funding. Let us know if you reach the next round so we can vote again.

You got my vote, Steve, but that woman on the page startled me. She needs to tone the happiness down by about 10 degrees.

Sorry about missing your post straight after blacksnake's!

Will keep you up to date!

    Thanks to all you guys!

I've been involved with the project since it started and there's some of my handiwork in the Horsa!

As a matter of interest, the photo is one that I took. The two gentlemen are Geoff Barkway (L) and Peter Boyle. They were in Glider #3 to Pegasus Bridge. The photo was taken in 2004 when Geoff and Peter visited the hangar to be interviewed for the BBC coverage of the 60th Anniversary of the Normandy Landings. They were the only surviving crew from the Pegasus and Horsa Bridge coups de main. Geoff died last year I believe, and Peter is not too well.
